Catherine Skinner, BSc, MSc, MBPsS
Author, Psychological Consultant & Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society
I founded this practice because I saw a profound void in the mental health and wellbeing field: a refusal to recognise that women's exhaustion is a predictable response to a failing system. Conventional wisdom tells you that if you are burned out, you need to change your mindset. My work proves the opposite. Grounded in my research for my forthcoming book, The Control Delusion, I show that the systems you inhabit—professional, relational, and institutional—are often actively working against your agency. You don't need to "manage" your stress better; you need a structural audit, an escape plan and a road to success.

This is a model I’ve built from the ground up, combining two decades of trauma-informed service development and legislative advocacy with a rigorous, evidence-based psychological approach. As a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS), my methodology bridges the gap between clinical theory and radical systemic change.
Women need a space that acknowledges the "Invisible Blueprint" of their lives. Whether you are navigating a high-stakes career, managing family instability, or securing your financial future, the self-doubt you carry is not a disorder. It is a somatic and psychological response to the Control Delusion—the belief that you can "work hard enough" to fix a system that wasn't designed for you to win.

While my work utilises established tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), we move beyond the couch to a "Reality-Audit." We identify negative thinking patterns not to pathologise them, but to reality-check them against the external barriers you face.
Instead of trying to force change through controlling every minute of your day, you will learn how to:
Identify the design flaws in your current professional and personal blueprints.
Stop over-functioning to stabilise systems that should be holding you.
Reclaim your Sovereignty and move toward a life designed entirely on your own terms.
The architecture starts now.
"I have the right to live the way I want. I'm living on my terms.
Catherine - thank you so much. I know what you always say: to give myself credit for the progress and I am starting to do that. But also thank you for all you do in helping me reach my goals! I really appreciate you so much.
It’s truly liberating that I’m not so lost anymore. I would love for women all around the world to start to heal, love themselves more, and live life they won’t regret. We all deserve that."
