I have worked at CEO level at 4 charitable companies since 2009 and have extensive experience in developing strategy in line with emerging themes and client engagement. I work with you to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and create a tailored plan to achieve your goals.

An important part of my work over the years has been about building a strong ethos and culture for each organisation I have led. I work in a supportive, empowering style with teams to get the best from them and to recognise what each person brings as an individual. Embedding self-care and self-compassion is key, particularly with teams at risk of burnout. 

My vision is to educate everyone to understand the real life-risks of violence towards women and girls. I have worked with organisations across different sectors including the police, NHS trusts, housing teams and charities to build awareness of risk and equip more teams to identify and support the needs of women internally and externally. 

When we are marginalised, we are less likely to have access to support when we face abuse and trauma. I work with organisations to understand the relationship between intersectionality and abuse and how it can impact on their teams and work culture, which includes recognising barriers and how to address them. Intersectionality is about understanding the relationship between discrimination and gender, race, social class, sexual orientation, physical ability and any other characteristics.
